What are your most difficult symptoms?:
That would be dry skin, dry eyes, dry mouth, sinus issues, joint aches, random tender spots, chronic fatigue, and anxiety.
How has Sjögren's impacted your life (either physically, emotionally, financially)?:
I think I have been suffering with Sjögren's since I was 11 years old, and no one knew then what it was. It has impacted my life with all sorts of medical and psychological issues.
How do you effectively cope with the complexity of symptoms?:
Most importantly I tell myself every day that I am not crazy. I do what I can to listen and pay attention to the signs when a flare up is about to start.
How do you incorporate self-care with managing Sjögren's?:
My self care is to take one day at a time and to love myself by doing what I can to feel better.
What is your go-to Sjögren's product?:
I have a few go-to products that I cannot live without, and they are Eucerin cream, Xiidra, Xhance and Mucinex Sinus Max.
What’s your best Sjögren’s tip?:
Incorporate exercise that your body can handle. Yoga, Pilates, and daily walks are great!
