This winter the Foundation launched a campaign that focuses on increasing professional education and awareness of the many challenges patients face with diagnosis, specifically spotlighting the difficult-to-diagnose patient. We are currently running an Awareness Ambassador campaign but would like more support dispersing the educational flyer to ensure that we reach as many healthcare providers as possible.

We invite YOU to download our flyer- HERE- and hand it out to the healthcare providers in your care team including nurses, primary care physicians, rheumatologists, pulmonologists, ophthalmologists, and others.

Our campaign flyer will provide information on the current diagnostic procedures and the many symptoms that over 50% of Sjögren’s patients experience, outside of what would be considered the “classic symptoms” of the disease.

The campaign flyer also includes information regarding the Foundation’s third annual State of Sjögren’s virtual conference, which is a virtual event for all scientists and medical professionals engaged in the research and/or treatment of Sjögren’s (Note: this is not a patient-attended conference).

The State of Sjögren's will be a FREE continuing medical education (CME) program specifically highlighting the difficult to diagnose patient, and focused on providing healthcare providers with the resources they need to better identify Sjögren’s. This conference will be presented live, virtually on Friday January 26th, 2024, and will be available as an online recording for CME credit for up to a year after the event.
