Join our VIRTUAL Team Sjögren’s 5K, 10K or Half Marathon, November 24-27, 2022
Have you ever wanted to learn how to run or run/walk a 5K or 10K?
Are you a runner who is looking for an opportunity to train for a race?
Do you like to be a part of a team who is making a difference?
Then our virtual Team Sjögren’s program is for you!
We are looking for walkers or runners to join our Team Sjögren’s Training Program for a virtual 5k, 10K or Half Marathon. Follow our program and we will prepare you to WALK or RUN either a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon distance over the weekend of November 24-27, 2022 in your hometown!
All of our runners and walkers will take part in regular training calls with your fellow team members and also get personal training advice from our experienced runners and walkers. Then on Thanksgiving weekend between November 24th-27th, our runners will all head out to complete their distance!
As a Team Sjögren’s member, you will receive:
- World-class training from our Team Trainer
- Leadership and mentorship from past runners and the The Foundation staff
- Opportunity to join a team of those wanting to make a difference
- And much, much more
The best part is that even if you have never run or walked such a distance, the staff and our team trainer will help guide you through the entire process and ensure you are ready to participate in November!
Our team will be full of walkers and runners – so don’t fret if you aren’t a runner – Team Sjögren’s was designed for you! Our plan takes people from the couch to the course!
In addition, you will be increasing awareness for Sjögren’s and helping raise crucial funds for Sjögren's research and education. If you don't feel you can walk or run in this event, do what so many other patients have done and recruit someone else - your husband, wife, sister, cousin, daughter, son or friend - and have them walk or run in your honor.
